Fluba-what and Doct-a-who?

November 11 - 12: Google Forms / Flubaroo for assesments and Doctopus for assignments Use Google forms and spreadsheet add-ons to create on-line quizzes and to easily manage student projects.

Flubaroo is a spreadsheet Add-on used with Google Forms to grade and email student responses to the form (quiz). Flubaroo:

• computes the average assignment score. 
• computes the average score per question, and flags low-scoring questions. 
• shows a grade distribution graph. 
• gives the option to email each student their grade, and an answer key if desired. 
• sends individualized feedback to each student. 

Doctopus is another awesome Add-on that allows you to manage student projects from the spreadsheet roster. Sharing and grading is streamlined and simplified. Doctopus can:

• share project templates to an entire class.
• manage student handin-folders and document / project templates.
• view date and time of last edit by each student without opening each file.
• disable access to documents at a specified time. 
• assess an entire class of projects from a single spreadsheet. 
• provide individualized feedback.
